Present professional activities

John has written (suggested by Phillip Knightley): "War Surgery – a partnership of heroes". It will be published in 2008 by Australian Military History Publications and an excerpt has appeared in "The Medscape Journal of Medicine". He is now writing on the suggested topic of "The concealed systemic flaws in health delivery".

He has an interest in medical whistle-blowing and "peer review" (see articles by L. R. Huntoon MD, AAPS, and Kenneth Westhues). He believes that both issues affect medical services worldwide.
